Celebrate the Small Things Post 5-25-15   Leave a comment

I’m a bit behind on this post because I moved my blog to wordpress from my website.

  • This past week I entered a writing contest and was chosen to post my entry for the coaches to decide if I’ll be in the agent round or not. Exciting to see the other entrees! Love the comments I’ve been getting on mine. June 4th the coaches make their decisions!
  • The kitten has been growing and getting more comfortable. We’ve had her a month but the older cat is still annoyed with her but isn’t hissing as much. The kitten is so quiet she never meows just lets out a “mer” when she wants something. I’ve never had such a quiet cat. Today is her six month birthday.
  • I finished a revision on a novel and am waiting to hear back from beta readers (readers who read your stuff and comment on anything confusing) before I send it back out.
  • I’m enjoying doing the blog posts for my literary assistant position and am putting an author spotlight up every Friday.
  • I like my new blog on wordpress. I finally found a template I like.
  • I started a new story, this one is a young adult magical realism. I’m up to 32K on it so far.

And that’s my week. Looking forward to a new week
