Celebrate the Small Things-June 27, 2015   Leave a comment

Okay, this is a day late but I have a good excuse. Yesterday, as you know, the Supreme Court of the US voted gay marriage legal in all 50 states! YAY! From this point forward, it’ll only be called marriage, which it should be. I’m so glad people can marry who they choose. So that’s my top celebration this week.

  • The weather in Los Angeles has been hot, hot, hot but there’s usually a breeze to go along with it.
  • I’m almost done with the first revision of my pirate book of looking for plot holes. Next up is setting and people descriptions. Rounding out the characters more. I hope to finish by the end of July but with beta readers weighing in, I may not.
  • The kitten is six months old now and still so much a kitten! She’s quite tall and loves to cuddle and play. I wish she’d let me sleep in though. Every morning she wakes me up early to open the blinds so she can see out. My bedroom window is the only one with a windowsill she can sit on to look out at the trees and see birds/squirrels.

That’s about it for my week. Hope yours was wonderful!
