Celebrate the Small Things-July 17, 2015   2 comments

Greetings All!

I hope everyone had a fabulous week. Mine has been fine. Here’s what I’m celebrating this week:

  • I entered #NewAgent writing contest with my Little Red Riding Hood retelling.
  • I started a new story but stopped after three chapters. I know this doesn’t sound like a celebration but it is and here’s why: it sparked another idea that I’m going with and have chapter 1 of it done!
  • Coffee with a writing buddy was fun.image
  • The kitten got a new toy to beat up instead of the older cat (who still growls and hisses at her).
  • Weather in Los Angeles has been hot, hot and hot. It’s sunny and lovely out as long as I’m watching from inside with my A/C on.
  • My writing buddy and I got a R&R on our novel and we’re excited to dive in. We’ve already got some good ideas to make it stronger!

And that was my week.

How was yours?

Kathleen

  1. Congrats to the R&R! And good luck with the contest. I have a soft spot for retellings 🙂
